This was an Emergency Call for a dead Panasonic KX TD816. The red light was out. THe fuses ion the system were fine. System had to be replaced. Gave them the ability to commnicate and replaced the system
Entertainment companys Video Confrencing stopped working. I reinstalled the firmware to the router, forwarded RTP port range again and now it works. I advised installing a UPS
Hosted PBX Service had poor call quality. I cleaned up the network and replaced the patch cables and it works fine now.
This was a system repair call for a NEC phone syastm that wouldnt open the door remotly, the adapter for the door strike was bad so I replaced it. Took about an hour
I Customer had been using the builtin auto attendant and needed more functionality so they upgraded to Intramail and programmed the directory and an off premis call forward.
Akways check the minimum point of entry MPOE when lines are down. This one happened to have dial tone there. I traced it to the alarm systems modem hanging onto the line. 1 hour to repair
Power surge rebooted everything and when the system came back up no out bound calling. Reprogrammed it for touch tone dialing and line order.
Customer changed phone companies to AT&Ts new fiber with VOIP lines. Extremely reliable if yo use a ups. no programming needed at all just some cross connects.

The NEC SL1100 is by far one of the best telephone systems for exandability and features. ANalog telephone lines or VoIP or both, SIP Fromt end and ANalog backup. Many forms of redundency for service make this a number onee contender. Easy to use phones make for less training and less of a pricetag for installation. Good looking sleak phones, cordless options. A feature rich voicemail package with multiplke auto attendants to run multiple companies from one system.
Panasonic has been one of the most popular phone systems for a very long time. When I first started in telecommunications twenty years ago people had ten year old panasonic telephonme systems in their businesses and homes. A phone for every size and shape of business or residence. Large to medium to SOHO (Small Office Home Office) solutions. Reliable feature rich systems to fit ervery need. Over head paging, door intercoms expandable relays to open doors.
When you stop expecting a hefty price tag, think again. Since thge begining Granmdstream has been known as the PBX Killer. When other phone system manufactures are lisencing ports for voice mail and lines, exensions, everything else you can think of, Grandstream has just the price for everything and its very affordable. They have entry level workstation phones to highend executive phones with video, Android OS, Apps, you name it, Grandstream has it. Regular phone lines from the phone company for those not willing to dive into VOIP or SIP Trunking, or both.
